Unemployment - Day 1
Well what a strange feeling to wake up and not have to go into work on a Monday morning. Unfortunately I've been sick all weekend and continue to be that way, so I think I'll spend my first day off going to the doctor. Once that's all cleared up I'm going to come home and brush up my resume a bit, as I have an interview tomorrow at 11:00. I'll file for unemployment at some point today as well.
Exciting times in the land of the jobless! Tune in tomorrow for the continuing adventures of 'UNEMPLOYED MAN'!

Auto Show
Went to the Harrisburg Auto Show on Saturday, and it was much more fun than I expected. A lot of nice vehicles there. I've got some pictures up on my website: Auto Show Pictures

Another link
This one is interesting. It's called Tricks of the Trade, and its a collection (almost in blog format), of different handy tips and tricks from various professions. Here's an example:
Camper
To make an easy omelet
* boil a pot of water on a fire;
* Put eggs in zip lock bag with cheese, meat, peppers or whatever you would like on your omelet
* Boil bag for 10 minutes.

From Paperclip to House
This guy started with one single red paperclip and is trying to make trades to eventually get a house. So far he's up to a snowmobile. For more info, check out the blog. http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com/
Sports Sim Website
Pretty cool - lets you sim any team from any sport in any year and gives a full box score and detailed info of the outcome. Looks like you can join leagues and take control of pasts teams but I only tried out the game simulations.

Blogging
You know what annoys me? When people gripe about what I choose to put on my own personal blog. I won't name any names, Todd, but there are certain people out there who feel the need to complain about things I post. Now I admit, I don't often put things that happen in my personal life on this blog, but that's just not what I made it for. To be honest, I just wanted one because everyone else had one.
So deal.

3rd Largest
Hurricane Rita has been classified as the 3rd largest storm in recorded history. For such a beast, this hurricane is sure pretty to look at from space.
You'll need Flash for this.
Apocalypse Now?
Could things really get this bad with this most recent hurricane heading towards Texas? The articles tone is a bit fire and brimstone, but if even half of what he's saying is true, parts of Texas, Houston specifically, could be pretty much annihilated. I hope, for their sakes, that this article is completely off-base.
40 to 50 BILLION?!
